Badr parliamentary bloc member, MP Moeen Al-Kadhimi, confirmed on Thursday that the financial costs and the insistence of Al-Sudani's government will force the American side to implement the military withdrawal agreement from Iraq.
Al-Kadhimi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "Trump's victory in the US presidency is no different from other American presidents," noting that "Iraq must rely on its own capabilities and govern its international and regional relations in a balanced manner."
He added, "The US forces withdrawal agreement signed between the Iraqi and American sides, which stipulates the end of the withdrawal of foreign combat forces, including US forces, by the end of 2025, is in effect."
He pointed out that "the financial costs and the insistence of Al-Sudani's government will force the American side to implement the military withdrawal agreement from Iraq."
It is noteworthy that the American elections resulted in the election of Donald Trump as the new President of the United States of America for the second time. End /25M
