MP for the Coordination Framework, Aref Abdul Jalil, confirmed on Friday that the expected ministerial change is not linked to a specific political component or party, denying that this change is linked to Al-Mashhadani’s arrival to the parliament presidency.
Abdul Jalil told Al-Maalouma, "The expected ministerial change in Al-Sudani's cabinet is not at all linked to Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani's arrival to the legislative authority as Speaker of the House of Representatives."
He added, "The ministerial change was proposed for some time before Al-Mashhadani came to the presidency of the parliament, as the ministerial replacement will take place in the coming days and will include all components and political blocs and is not linked to a specific party or party."
He pointed out that "there is a push and pull on the issue of ministerial replacement by some political parties, although the issue is not related to a party, component, or political deal related to the presidency of parliament. Rather, the issue is old, but the time was not appropriate in the past period to implement it." End 25N
