    Information/ Diyala…
Diyala Council Chairman Omar Al-Karwi revealed, on Sunday, the start of the industrial cities plan in Diyala.
Al-Karwi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, "A plan was proposed to build 3 industrial cities in Diyala through a partnership between the public and private sectors according to a mechanism that gives priority to 7 production sectors, most notably construction materials and food directly."
He added, "This plan has actually been initiated by directing the relevant authorities to determine the locations and complete the studies and economic feasibility, stressing that Diyala's location provides vitality and flexibility to transform into an economic window through industrial production."
He pointed out that "our efforts aim to achieve self-sufficiency in several materials, especially with the presence of investment activity and the return of capital, which will play a role in the economy and industry in general."
It is noteworthy that Diyala currently includes hundreds of factories and workshops that produce various materials, but the security disturbances led to the closure of most of them after 2006. End 25 F
