     Cabinet will discuss at its emergency today, on Thursday, the mechanism of reducing the budget deficit in 2015 to 15 billion dinars.
    According to an informed source told all of Iraq [where] that "the Council of Ministers, a mechanism and a formula to reduce the budget deficit to 15 billion dinars, to allow the House to approve it."
    "The mechanism, which will hopefully be adopted, to reduce the deficit is to increase taxes on energy companies, mobile phone companies, and a number of other companies."
     He continued: it is hoped that the Council of Ministers held an emergency meeting this evening [at six o'clock, to discuss the issue of the budget and the mechanism to be followed to reduce the shortfall in them.
    It is said that the Cabinet has postponed its meeting on Tuesday, due to lower global oil prices .anthy 2

    Although the Council of Ministers decided to hold a special session to discuss the budget today, but there are those who question the possibility to be held, adding that "the Council of Ministers had been postponed in its first Tuesday of the continuing decline in oil prices, which reached up to yesterday, $ 61, up slightly by about $ 3." .

    that have hindered approving it because of falling global oil prices and big deficits.
    The MP of Ahrar bloc , Hussein al-Sharifi said in a statement reported for "Shafaq News", that “the cabinet will vote on the budget in the coming sessions and then there will be a special session of parliament held to read and vote on them.”
    The sale of oil prices in world markets (OPEC) have witnessed a decrease over the past few weeks after arrived to $ 60 rates, which caused confusion among the Iraqi government and those in charge of the preparation of the federal budget for 2015 project.
    The price drop in global markets comes after Saudi Arabia undertook a sharp reduction in the official selling price of crude going to Asia and the United States last week.
    Iraq relies 95% on oil in the annual general budget, while the industrial sector projects are still not eligible to be a main source for the Iraqi imports because of its exposure to the neglect over the past 10 years
