    Economy News - Baghdad
Today, Saturday, the head of the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee, Zahra Al-Bajari, called on Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to clarify the benefits of separating the airport management from the General Company for Airports and Air Navigation Management, which is not well thought out and the government should take its time.
Al-Bujari said in a statement followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", "The decision to separate the management of airports from the General Company for Airports and Air Navigation Management is ill-considered, and the government must take its time with it."
Al-Bujari explained that "there is a recommendation from the Advisory Board that the airports must be linked to the Air Navigation Company, and the Parliamentary Transport Committee recommended forming a self-partnership to manage this file."
She concluded her speech by calling on the "Prime Minister to reveal the benefits and objectives of the decision to the public opinion and the alternative plan for this decision, especially since there are more than 1,000 employees and private property at the airports and its fixed and mobile assets, all of which are linked to the General Company for Airports and Air Navigation Management."
