    Fortune magazine’s list of “The 100 Most Powerful People in Business” included Kurdish businessman Hamdi Ulukaya, founder and chairman of Chobani yogurt company in America, according to the Turkish newspaper Zaman.4[/size]
    [size=45]Fortune magazine's list included leaders from 40 sectors, with Tesla CEO Elon Musk ranking first on the list.[/size]
    [size=45]Hamdi Ulukaya, a businessman from Erzincan in northern Kurdistan (southeastern Türkiye) and CEO of Chobani, ranked 83rd on the list.[/size]
    [size=45]Ulukaya immigrated to the United States from Türkiye in 1994 and in 2005 bought a yogurt factory in upstate New York with a bank loan.[/size]
    [size=45]According to a report by the Emirati newspaper Al Khaleej:
    Hamdi Ulukaya was born on October 26, 1972 in Turkey to a family of Kurdish origin. His family owned and operated a sheep, goat and dairy farm near the Euphrates River in Ilis, Erzincan province, where the family made cheese and yogurt.[/size]
    [size=45]After studying political science at Ankara University, Ulukaya moved to the United States to study English at Adelphi University in Long Island, New York in 1994. In 1997 he moved upstate to take business courses at the University at Albany.[/size]
    [size=45]Eventually, Ulukaya got a job on a farm in New York, and during a visit to Turkey, he convinced his father to export feta cheese from the family farm in Turkey, after tasting the humble cheese available on the American market.[/size]
