Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed, today, Saturday (November 30, 2024), with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in a phone call, the latest developments in Syria and joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of combating terrorism.[/size]
[size=45]The Syrian presidency said in a statement that "Assad discussed in a phone call with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani the latest developments and joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of combating terrorism, and a number of Arab and international issues."[/size]
[size=45]She added that "Al-Sudani stressed that the security of Syria and Iraq is one security," stressing "Iraq's readiness to provide all necessary support to Syria to confront terrorism and all its organizations, and Iraq's adherence to Syria's stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity."[/size]
