    [rtl]The Iraqi Private Banks Association, in coordination with the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Culture, the Baghdad Municipality, and the Baghdad Governorate, inaugurated the statue of the Iraqi poet Nazik Al-Malaika on Al-Saray Street after its rehabilitation as part of the Baghdad Pulse initiative under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and under the supervision of the Iraqi Private Banks Association and the Baghdad Municipality. [/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Community Initiatives Fund “Tamkeen”, funded by private banks and supervised by the Private Banks Association, responded to the Prime Minister’s invitation to erect a statue of the poet Nazik Al-Malaika, and commissioned the Iraqi sculptor Fadhel Masir to complete it. [/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Chairman of the Iraqi Private Banks Association, Wadih Al-Handhal, said that in response to the invitation of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, which was launched on May 25, 2023, the Tamkeen Fund, under the supervision of the Iraqi Private Banks Association, financed the creative artist and sculptor Fadhel Masir to create a statue commemorating this great poet on the occasion of the centenary of her birth. Today, we inaugurate this distinctive monument on Al-Saray Street, which was rehabilitated as part of the Baghdad Pulse initiative.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He pointed out that erecting this statue is not only a tribute to Nazik Al-Malaika as a prominent poet, but also carries a profound message that reflects Iraq's interest in its creators and its keenness to celebrate their cultural history.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]On the other hand, the Cultural Advisor to the Prime Minister and Director General of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Aref Al-Saadi, said that the occasion represents a new connection between Iraqi culture and creativity, noting that this edifice is the first statue of an Iraqi poet and she is the first woman to receive this honor.[/rtl]
