    The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, and the National Security Advisor, Qasim al-Araji, stressed today, Monday (December 2, 2024), the importance of continuing the security and intelligence effort on the Iraqi borders after they are fully secured.
    The media office of the National Security Advisor stated in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "Al-Araji met today with the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, where the meeting included a comprehensive review of the latest developments in the Syrian arena and the latest developments in the political and security scene in the region."
    He added, "During the meeting, the importance of continuing the security and intelligence efforts on the Iraqi-Syrian border after it has been fully secured was emphasized, in addition to emphasizing Iraq's position on the recent events in sisterly Syria and the importance of supporting all efforts to eliminate terrorist organizations."
