[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The head of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, at the Ministry of Planning, Fayyadh Mohammed Abdul, today, Monday, made an inspection visit to the Gold Inspection and Stamping Center, at Baghdad International Airport.
During his visit, which was accompanied by the Director General of Technical and Administrative Affairs, Omar Adel Mohi, and the official spokesman for the ministry, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, the head of the agency was briefed on the workflow mechanisms and procedures for examining and marking gold and silver bullion and jewelry, jewelry and precious stones that enter through the Baghdad International Airport outlet. He directed to provide all work requirements and increase working hours to 24 hours a day, in order to facilitate procedures and ensure the safety of gold.
He pointed to the opening of a number of examination centers in other airports, including Najaf and Kirkuk airports, while the fourth center will be opened at Basra Airport in the coming days. He pointed out that the next stage will witness the inclusion of other Iraqi airports in opening such centers.
He explained that the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Planning pay great attention to this file, due to its great economic value, and are closely following up on the procedures and steps taken in this context.
