MP Jawad Al-Yassari revealed today, Monday, the reason for disrupting the parliament session scheduled to be held today.
The leftist said in a statement to / Al-Maalouma / agency, "The laws that were placed on the agenda of the House of Representatives today are not controversial as much as they are important," indicating that "the delay in holding the session lies in the continuation of disagreements over the wording of some paragraphs of the general amnesty law, which witnessed discussions from yesterday until today."
He added: "There are no disagreements regarding the content of the Personal Status Law," explaining that "one of the reasons for the suspension of the laws is the result of the lack of trust between the parties and components and not because of problems in the law itself."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives decided to postpone its session for half an hour due to the lack of a quorum. End 25 min
