[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Minister of Trade Athir Dawood Al-Ghariri headed the delegation of the Republic of Iraq to the meetings of the Iraqi-Turkish Trade and Economic Committee (JETCO) in its first session, which is being held in Istanbul from the second to the third of this December.
The ministry stated in a statement that the meeting discussed strengthening trade and economic relations and reviewed opportunities for joint cooperation in various sectors, including trade, transportation, industry, planning, and customs, which were included in the draft minutes and in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries.
The statement confirmed that the Director General of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Riyadh Al-Hashemi, and his Turkish counterpart signed the minutes with initials while chairing the first technical meeting in preparation for its signing by the Ministers of Trade in both countries.
The statement indicated that the members of the committee from the Iraqi side are representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Industry, Agriculture, Transport, Planning, Finance, the Border Ports Authority, the President of the Contractors Union, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and the Federation of Iraqi Industries, in addition to the trade office in Istanbul. / End H [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl]
