Service Effort: Completion of 90 projects by next February

The Engineering Service Effort Team will open 90 projects by next February at the latest, while 300 out of 428 projects have been completed in Baghdad and the governorates as part of its plan for the current year. The team’s head, Engineer Abdul Razzaq Al-Maliki, told Al-Sabah: The team began its work at the beginning of this year in Baghdad to serve deprived and agricultural areas, and then the work expanded to extend to 10 governorates, including Najaf, Babylon, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Basra, Muthanna, Diwaniyah, Wasit, in addition to Salah al-Din and Nineveh. He explained that the team listed 428 projects, 300 of which have been fully completed, while 90 of them have reached advanced completion rates and will be opened by next February at the latest, while 38 projects remain to be completed successively. Al-Maliki explained that the team has started working on five projects in Baghdad that were included in its plan for the coming year 2025 in Baghdad due to the receipt of many appeals to expedite work on them, in addition to that, it will start 35 other projects. He stated that the team's plan includes direct dealing with the popular committees in the areas it entered by registering complaints and appeals from citizens to ensure full completion and linking them together so that the work is integrated from all aspects, in addition to implementing the instructions of the supervising authorities and verifying the quality of work at all stages, especially since the referral of work is done through direct implementation in order to accelerate implementation. Al-Maliki noted that the service effort led to the activation of the work of 13 asphalt plants that were neglected and at risk of extinction, as he included these plants in his projects in support of the national product, stressing the existence of daily follow-ups by the Prime Minister's Office in order to choose deprived areas according to population density and service, especially since most of the team's projects were implemented through emergency allocations amounting to approximately 85 billion dinars, expressing his hope to increase financial allocations to complete the largest number of projects.
