Huge sewerage project in Amara

Maysan Governor Habib Dhaher Al-Fartousi laid the foundation stone for the first phase of a huge project to establish an integrated sewer network, rainwater drainage systems, and modern pumping stations supported by a highly efficient network operating system in the city of Amara.
The governor stated in an interview with "Al-Sabah" on the sidelines of the foundation stone laying ceremony for the aforementioned projects yesterday, Monday, that the above projects are of great importance and an important addition to the infrastructure of the governorate center, noting that the projects are scheduled to be fully completed within a period not exceeding 540 days. He pointed out that the projects aim to improve the services provided to the citizens of those areas, in addition to expanding and developing the infrastructure in the governorate, which is one of the priorities of government work in Maysan, which he noted will bring about a qualitative shift in the field of basic services, improve the living environment, and reduce the negative effects resulting from rain.
