Alia Nassif demands the dismissal of the Iraqi ambassador to Kuwait and holding him accountable for his recent statements regarding border demarcation

[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / MP Alia Nassif called on the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to terminate the duties of the Iraqi ambassador to Kuwait and replace him with another, and hold him accountable for his recent statements regarding the demarcation of the borders with Kuwait.
She said in a statement today: "The ambassador exceeded his powers by involving himself in issues related to Iraq's sovereignty and borders, in addition to his strange compliments to the Kuwaiti side to the point of congratulating them on the success of the Gulf summit, although this summit included decisions that affect Iraq's sovereignty and economy."
Regarding the ambassador's statements about negotiations with Kuwait regarding the demarcation of the borders, Nassif stressed: "The ambassador is not authorized to make statements about these sovereign files, noting that his statements require summoning him and investigating him because merely talking about negotiating this file serves Kuwait's interest and legitimizes its trespassing on our borders and waters."
Nassif stressed "the necessity for the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to summon this ambassador, terminate his duties, and replace him with another ambassador, noting that the House of Representatives will have a position in this regard." /End9 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl]
