Solving the problems of the private sector in Kirkuk

Academics are working in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth in Kirkuk to solve the problems facing the private sector.
The Executive Director of the Council, Dr. Ali Hilal, told Al-Sabah that the first conference for youth development, which was held recently in the University of Kirkuk’s Presidency Hall, with the attendance of specialists and students about to graduate, aims to activate the private sector and integrate youth into it, as it is a means to eliminate unemployment, establish projects, and provide facilities, initiatives, and youth programs, such as the (Riyada) project and other youth ideas.
He pointed out that the conference summarized the problems suffered by the private sector, such as employer opportunism, deprivation of workers' rights, and lack of job stability, noting that recommendations were submitted to obtain the approval of the Prime Minister's Office to form a committee of several formations and authorize it to inquire about the opinion statement on the Workers' Protection Law and formulate it in a final form.
