The Council of Ministers takes a package of important decisions

The Council of Ministers decided yesterday, Tuesday, to suspend official work next Tuesday on the occasion of Victory Day over the terrorist gangs of "ISIS" and the liberation of all Iraqi territories, while taking a package of decisions to confront security challenges and ward off risks to the country. The Council also approved the draft instructions for overtime wages for employees, based on the provisions of Article (17) of the State and Public Sector Employees' Salaries Law No. (22) of (2008). A statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office received by "Al-Sabah" stated that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired the forty-ninth regular session of the Council of Ministers yesterday, Tuesday. In implementation of the Prime Minister's directives, the Council approved operating free flights to Beirut to transport Iraqi guests from Lebanese citizens wishing to return to their country.
