    {Local: Al Furat News} Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi announced today, Wednesday, the launch of the "Humaiti Plus" application, which allows beneficiaries of social protection assistance to submit or update the annual statement electronically via phone.
    Al-Asadi said during the launch ceremony, which was attended by the Chairman and members of the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee and senior staff in the Social Protection Authority: “This application represents a qualitative step towards facilitating the process of submitting annual data, as it can be downloaded via smartphones through the (Apple Store) and (Android) applications after downloading the Super Key application.”
    He stressed, "As of today, Wednesday, paper transactions for submitting the annual statement will be stopped in all departments and branches of the Authority," indicating that "the application will operate experimentally until 1-1-2025, after which beneficiaries can submit proof of life electronically."
    He pointed out that "the technologies used in the application, such as facial recognition, will greatly reduce identity theft."
    He added: "The Social Protection Authority succeeded in auditing and completing more than 1,850,000 annual statement transactions during the year 2024, and we seek to reach the provision of data electronically in full by the beginning of 2025."
    Al-Asadi continued: “The electronic investigation and matching operations carried out by the Authority revealed 5,000 cases of impersonation and 4,000 forged transactions.” 
    He explained that "electronic automation will greatly reduce the need for beneficiaries to visit departments and branches," explaining, "We intend to evaluate the performance of the electronic system and develop databases within a month."
    The Minister also reviewed the Ministry's efforts to recover debts from those who exceeded the social protection allowance through the "Jabi" application, saying: "We were able to recover 114 billion dinars in cash, and 26 billion through the POS application, bringing the total amounts recovered during 2024 to about 320 billion dinars, while the Social Protection Fund's revenues since its establishment amounted to two trillion dinars."
