The university has advanced[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Twenty ranks compared to last year’s version, to be ranked twentieth, then the Universities of Technology, Al-Mustansiriya, Mosul, Al-Nahrain, Anbar, Babylon, Basra, Al-Maarif, Tikrit, Al-Iraqiya, Al-Mustaqbal, Al-Qadisiyah, Diyala, Karbala, the Islamic University, Al-Ain, Al-Qasim Al-Khadra, Dhi Qar, Warith Al-Anbiya, Wasit, Al-Isra, Al-Farahidi, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical, Al-Muthanna, Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University, the Central Technical University, the Northern Technical University, the Southern Technical University, Kirkuk, Maysan, and the universities of the Kurdistan Region.

Forty-five Iraqi universities achieved positive results in the Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings 2024 for the best ranked universities in the Arab region.
