Tasnim International News Agency reported on Wednesday that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will head to Iraq on Friday to continue consultations on developments in Syria.[/size]
[size=45]The agency indicated that Araghchi will meet in Baghdad with senior Iraqi officials to consult on the events in Syria and regional developments.[/size]
[size=45]The agency pointed out that last week, Araghchi conducted a regional tour that included Syria and Turkey to consult and hold talks on developments in the situation in Syria, where he expressed Iran's positions towards these transformations.[/size]
[size=45]During his visit to Syria, Araqchi held consultations with Bashar al-Assad, President of the Syrian Republic.[/size]
[size=45]In this meeting, the Iranian Foreign Minister described the recent movements of terrorist groups as “part of the conspiracies of the enemies of the stability and security of the region, and considered that they show the harmony of the malicious goals of the terrorists with America and the Zionist entity, who seek to continue igniting wars and destabilizing security in the region, and compensating for the failures of the Zionists in front of the resistance front.”[/size]
[size=45]Araghchi stressed his confidence that Syria, as it defeated terrorism in the past, will once again be able to overcome terrorist groups.[/size]
