    Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani explained, during his hosting in the House of Representatives, the reasons for amending the federal budget and carrying out a ministerial change, while reviewing a summary of the government program and its implementation rates, stressing the important legislation and laws and the necessity of their availability to proceed with development plans. The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement: "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani explained in the House of Representatives session, the reasons for amending the General Federal Budget Law." He also reviewed in the House of Representatives session, the government policies and measures taken to confront the challenges of the region and its developments since the events of October 7, 2023. Likewise, the Prime Minister explained the reasons and necessities for carrying out a ministerial change in the government formation, and the reasons for its delay. Al-Sudani also reviewed a summary of the government program and its implementation rates, and the achieved targets of government priorities.
