The Ministry of Construction and Housing will launch, at the beginning of next year, the application form for a new batch of Housing Fund loans.November 7, 2024[/size]
In a statement to Al-Sabah newspaper, which was followed by the “Eshan” platform, Nabil Al-Saffar, on behalf of the ministry, said that “the fund provided loans during the current year worth 750 billion dinars, distributed among 17,000 applicants,” noting that “the issuance of loans depends on the financial amounts allocated to it, in addition to the refunds that are recycled to lend to citizens because they are an important capital that is relied upon in lending.”
He announced that “the ministry will launch the application form for the fund’s loans at the beginning of next year 2025 after the availability of financial liquidity and the completion of the necessary administrative and financial procedures,” noting that “the application for the loan will be exclusively through the (OR) electronic portal in accordance with the applicable standards.”
Al-Saffar pointed out that “the ministry is working, in coordination with the Central Bank and a number of banks, to prepare a study aimed at including applicants for housing units within the new residential cities project with soft loans from banks, but the matter is still under study and has not been decided.”
Last February, the Ministry launched applications for housing fund loans.
