The city of Hillah witnessed a major campaign to close private tutoring institutes and unlicensed kindergartens for violating safety conditions.
The Director of the Private and Foreign Education Department in Babylon Education, Hussein Al-Awadi, told Al-Sabah: The closure of these institutes and kindergartens aims to organize the educational process and ensure compliance with legal standards, indicating that the campaign was carried out with the participation of Babylon Education and the Private and Foreign Education Department in coordination with the governorate and the National Security Service.
He explained that the campaign was carried out after monitoring a number of educational institutions that operate without official licenses, which constitutes a legal violation and negatively affects the quality of education and the conditions of students, noting that the concerned authorities have taken these measures to ensure the provision of educational services in accordance with approved standards and to protect the rights of students and parents.
The Babylon Education Directorate called on all owners of educational institutions to adhere to legal procedures and obtain the necessary licenses before practicing the activity.
