The leader of the State of Law Coalition, Sheikh Haider Al-Lami, warned of Netanyahu’s intentions and plans towards Iraq and some countries in the region, after pushing towards inflaming the situation in Syria.
Al-Lami told Al-Maalouma, "The head of the Zionist occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, has placed Iraq on a black map within the United Nations, and this confirms the intentions that this Zionist has towards Iraq."
He added, "Netanyahu has threatened the most important figure in Iraq, represented by the religious authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani. Therefore, these threats must be taken seriously, especially since the Zionist entity is leading a plan against the region and is seeking to inflame the situation there."
He pointed out that "the course of events in Syria has a direct connection to the security of Iraq, especially since the Zionist entity has pushed towards tension and inflaming the situation in Syria, which necessitates taking security measures to ensure the security and stability of the country."
