Iraqi parliament member Burhan Al-Nimrawi revealed, on Tuesday, that there is a difference in views on some controversial laws.
Al-Nimrawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The controversial laws face a difference in visions between the political forces," indicating that "the dialogues are ongoing to mature the controversial laws."
He added that "the House of Representatives ended its legislative session without approving important laws that serve the interests of the citizen," noting that "everyone is waiting to reach an agreement on the controversial laws."
He pointed out that "ending the debate over controversial laws depends on the agreement of the political blocs within the House of Representatives, and we hope to reach an agreement in order to pass them." End/25H
