    Information / Baghdad..
State of Law leader Haider al-Lami confirmed today, Wednesday, that the general amnesty law threatens Iraqi security and wastes the blood of martyrs.
Al-Lami said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The general amnesty law reflects great leniency in holding criminals accountable at the expense of the blood of the Iraqi people and martyrs."
He added, "The arrest of the criminals was not a coincidence, but rather required prior planning, huge costs, and great sacrifices, to allow their release today by a simple decision."
He explained that "it is not unlikely that there are dormant terrorist cells that could be activated in light of these policies, stressing that Iraqi security begins from within Syria, which requires an effective and central role for the security services in this regard."
He pointed out that "the possibility of activating ISIS gangs with plans supported by American intelligence, as part of its efforts to destabilize Iraq and the region." End 25/S
