     Information/ Dohuk
Informed sources revealed, on Friday, that Ankara has established what it called red camps on the border with Iraq.
She said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, "Ankara, through its intelligence agencies, has actually begun implementing a plan to transfer Syrian mercenaries of Turkish origin to special and secret training camps on the border with Iraq in order to form trained battalions and throw them into complex operations against targets in the Kurdistan Region."
She added, "The camps, which raise red flags, are a new plan to benefit from mercenaries of various nationalities in Ankara's conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party in the Iraqi arena and to seek to reduce the cost of human losses in the ranks of its army to ease popular discontent."
She pointed out that "the recent Syrian events provided Ankara with greater capabilities to transfer more mercenaries and benefit from their capabilities in implementing its goals deep inside Iraq."
It is noteworthy that Türkiye has been carrying out an incursion since last June in several axes in the Kurdistan region and is imposing its control over large areas. End 25 F
