[rtl]Today, Saturday, the Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadhil, explained the mechanism for paying taxes via electronic cards, while indicating that the various regions of Iraq in all governorates will enter the electronic transformation successively. [/rtl]
[rtl]The Minister of Electricity told the official agency, which was followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the ministry signed a contract with the company (Switch), one of the companies approved by the Central Bank of Iraq, and today all citizens in Baghdad Governorate can pay through the electronic card, and there is no need to hand over the collection amounts to meter readers."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "This application will be announced in all Iraqi governorates, and thus the citizen will be able to pay the electronic bill from his home or workplace, and he will receive a message via WhatsApp that the bill has been paid."[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued, "Within the smart transformation projects, the meters will be read electronically instead of having readers come to homes, and even electronic payment," noting that "the first stage of implementing the transformation is obligating investment complexes to pay bills electronically, and then with the smart transformation project, and also entering the various regions of Iraq in all governorates into the transformation successively."[/rtl]
