    Member of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Amer Al-Fayez, considered today, Saturday, that the killing taking place in the region in general and Syria in particular is a result of the absence of a diplomatic solution.
    Al-Fayez said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "What the region is going through in terms of wars, killing and displacement makes it impossible for there to be a political and diplomatic solution." 
    He added, "In the absence of a diplomatic contract, peoples face more killing and chaos. Accordingly, we call on decision-makers to intervene to resolve war crises away from the language of bloodshed."
    He pointed out that "there are countries that are thirsty for shedding the blood of innocents to maintain the state of war in the region, which will have a negative impact on our countries," noting that "the political and diplomatic solution is the only way out of the current crisis that is raging in the region."
