    Kuwait required great Faw port coverage with any assessment of port [Mubarak] controversial between the two countries.

    The
    Kuwaiti News Agency Kuna Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled
    Al-Jarallah said in response to a question about remarks made by some
    Iraqi officials on their proposal for a neutral assessment of the
    situation in the zone of the port of Wilmington "don't have any
    reservation or objection to this side of the neutral evaluation process
    which includes Faw port and the port of Wilmington.

    Mubarak, Kuwaiti port is one of the outstanding issues between Iraq and Kuwait.

    well as the approval of Draft law on ratification of the Convention and
    to transmit it to the Council of representatives, based on the
    provisions of articles [16/item first and 80/item II] of the
    Constitution. "

    The Council statement said the Ambassador Agency,
    received the news that "the Convention was not to lift any flag for
    ships carrying the nationality of one of the Contracting Parties is not
    aware of its nationality by passing through the territorial waters of
    the other party when the exercise of navigational traffic either foreign
    vessels they will know only their nationality and the provisions of
    this Convention shall not apply to the passage of warships and Coast
    Guard for both parties where each party will work to prevent the
    presence of fishermen in the part in its territorial sea from Fairway
    will work to preserve the marine environment from pollution risks
    whatsoever and work to combat and eliminate its effects ".

    The
    "fairway is mentioned in the Convention is the fairway from the
    confluence of the navigation channel in the Khawr Abd Allah, the
    international border between border points number [156] [157] southwards
    to the point [162] and then to the beginning of the portal navigation
    channel at the entrance to the Khawr Abd Allah"

    He noted that
    "the parties to the Convention will be a joint management Committee,
    chaired by the Undersecretary of the Iraqi side and the Ministry of
    communications on the Kuwaiti side and an equal number of experts from
    both sides where the Committee will organize and coordinate the tasks of
    navigation on the fairway in the Khawr ' Abd Allah and a joint plan to
    ensure the safety of navigation in the fairway and approve maintenance
    work as expansion and deepening and developing guidelines and
    hydrographic surveys and alguark and these costs are shared equally
    between the parties to the Convention
