A lot of talk, a lot of articles, and all is good, but as we have all seen over and over again, what we see is not what we get all the time. Seeing an article or hearing an official make a statement which confirms what we have all seen in various articles is great, in a normal country, but we have all seen and heard it all when it comes to articles.
What it comes down to is one thing, seeing a low denomination note, as mentioned, as example, the 5 dinar would be confirmation of what? Well, it could be the obvious, a restored value well above the current rate, or is it something else? We just don't know for sure, and with all the lop, no lop, lop, no lop talk over all these years, or as I saw it, removing of the zeros, one way or another, this is an indication of change, and we are all open to change at this point, but still, no one knows what the change will mean until it is done.
Certainly it was a good tip off of change, why else would they mention a small denom of 5 dinar and 25 dinar, so they must be pending release, right? That is good to hear, and along with all the articles supporting this change, I am sure we are close to some major changes and my friend in Kurdistan is seeing less spending as citizens are holding onto as much dinar as possible, which is what we would be doing if we expected a major revalue of U.S. dollar as example. Imagine if we knew the dollar was to be backed by silver or gold again, rather than the worthless monopoly money we now have in our pockets. Or the reverse, the currency was going to be replaced, you would run to exchange for silver of gold, right?
Time will tell, but I was glad to hear of any change which is impending, now I just want to see it happen, not just read about this change. This could be the week, finally, so lets all hope it is and enough of this mystery novel, we are all burned out on articles of change when it has yet to happen. Maybe this time it will happen.
Success to all,
