ECOTEC3 ENGINES

Our available 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 provides 355 horsepower while offering up to 23 hwy mpg,^† the most fuel-efficient gas V8 pickup truck engine ever. The standard 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 offers 305 lb-ft of torque, the most of any standard V6 in its class. Our available 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 offers 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Nice thing about Chevrolet is, if they don't make any money they can just get it from the Taxpayer's again... At least that vehicle is supporting jobs in North Texas.

The trucks are made in fort wayne Indiana, and Mexico, and clay coma Missouri. Texas don't make the trucks, Texas makes the SUV only. Even tho I'm a Dodgers guy these days, these new chevys make the old days interesting again....to me.

Use to be 4 SUV plants, only 1 and in Texas. Thee other three were closed about 6, 7 years ago.
