[ltr] He attributed the oil minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Tuesday, turning the Iraqi economy from a state to a yield to the "unjust laws" and the changes suffered by the Iraqi state since more than five decades, as he emphasized that the ministry has taken several measures to cope with the increase of oil production as well as providing logistical needs for the development of the oil transportation network.[/ltr]
[ltr] Adel Abdul-Mahdi, in a statement received (range Press), a copy of which, "The changes that have occurred in the Iraqi state structure since the late fifties and early sixties ruined a lot of structures that got formerly despite slowness," noting that "the laws unfair against the Iraqi economy about the Iraqi economy from a state economy to a yield depends largely on oil imports. " Said Abdul-Mahdi, "the ministry's keenness to employ all the efforts that are in the oil sector interest and to accelerate the advancement of the oil industry and increase production and expand exports, as reflected positively on the revenue," pointing out that "the ministry rushed appropriate to provide ground to cope with the increase in oil production and the creation of logistical requirements needed to develop oil transportation network, and create a mechanism for granting international investment to domestic refineries. "[/ltr]
[ltr]The House of Representatives has approved on, (the 29th of January 2015), the current year's budget by $ 119 trillion dinars, the equivalent of $ 117 billion, and a deficit of about 25 trillion dinars, or about 23 billion dollars, as the budget is based on revenues in heavily on its oil sales, which is called in the theories of economics rentier economy.[/ltr]
[ltr] He announced the Cabinet, on Tuesday, the formation of a committee headed by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi shall establish own investment strategies.[/ltr]
[ltr] A statement by the Information Office of the Prime Minister seen by the "long", that "the Council of Ministers decided to form a committee of cell crisis and add to it all of the Investment Authority and the Central Bank and the experts and the Ministry of Electricity, headed by the Prime Minister shall establish strategies and mechanisms for investment and referred to in Article ( 16) from the federal budget of the Republic of Iraq for fiscal year 2015 ".[/ltr]
[ltr] The statement added that "The Council agreed to defer the payment of the loan amount to the Ministry of Electricity under the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (314) for the year 2014 to 2016 and an interest rate of (2%)," noting that "the delay was due to the limited financial allocations to the ministry for 2015 and the obligations and the fact that it is the duty of the loan repayment with interest on 01.07.2015, which represents an additional burden on the budget and its inability to complete its obligations. "[/ltr]
