Antoine said that the idea of issuing a new currency of a particular class, is for the purpose of minimizing market trading, and the use of large pieces and small pieces instead, noting that the issuance of the currency of a large categories of banks and reduces its trustees problems in counting the money.

He added that the proposed percent of thousand Iraqi dinars, the currency can not replace the dollar percent, because it can not be resolved currency other currency instead of its twin and there was no one can replace the other, but instead can be solved a lot of problems with the market.

For the most part, these bills were used by banks and the Federal Government for large financial transactions. This was especially true for gold certificates from 1865 to 1934. However, the introduction of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] system has made large-scale cash transactions obsolete. According to the US Department of Treasury website, "The present denominations of our currency in production are $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100. The purpose of the United States currency system is to serve the needs of the public and these denominations meet that goal. Neither the Department of the Treasury nor the Federal Reserve System has any plans to change the denominations in use today."[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

What denominations of currency notes is the Treasury Department no longer printing?

On July 14, 1969, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , the 60th Secretary of the Treasury, and officials at the Federal Reserve Board announced that they would immediately stop distributing currency in denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000. Production of these denominations stopped during World War II. Their main purpose was for bank transfer payments. With the arrival of more secure transfer technologies, however, they were no longer needed for that purpose. While these notes are legal tender and may still be found in circulation today, the Federal Reserve Banks remove them from circulation and destroy them as they are received.

Baghdad - INA / confirmed member of the parliamentary finance committee, Majida al-Tamimi, said on Monday that inflation in Iraq, has become "reasonable", noting that the committee fears "corruption" in the printing of large denominations that the central bank intends to implement them.

She said Tamimi's "official Iraqi News Agency", that "change the currency will not affect inflation because the inflation rate in Iraq has become a 2 to 3 percent, which is considered reasonable to some extent," pointing out that "the government is considering currency printing process of category 50 100 thousand to reduce the money supply in the market size. "

"The Finance Committee wary of printing large groups of currency because the process is expected to be accompanied by the corruption of the process of switching," afterthought "The CBI had taken all legal and prudential reserves in order to keep the possibility of corruption in the process of printing new currency."
