A consortium of three Estonian IT companies are to provide an electronic information system for Iraqi courts.
The companies are Aktors, Net Group and Võrguvara, and the first step will be building a system for the court in Sulaymaniyah.
Within nine months, electronic court systems will be built for all three court levels, the companies said in a joint press release.
The project’s main contractor is Aktors, who started selling Estonian IT solutions in Kurdistan last year, setting up a subsidiary company with eight employees.
Net Group is responsible for software solutions and Võrguvara supplies the necessary infrastructure for the project.
The contract is valued at 5 million euros.
