Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP Suzan al-Saad of Basra province attributed the recent bombings in Basra to the poor coordination among the security forces and the weak intelligence performance.
Saad mentioned on Monday “The lack of mutual cooperation among the security forces would endanger the people lives where the weak provocative actions adopted by the security body led to a gap which is exploited by the terrorists to get to their goals.”
“We fear this clear weakness in the performance of the security body may expose the service and strategic projects to destruction and make the foreign companies refrain from investing in the province,” she added.
Basra has witnessed on last Sunday two car bombs which led to 37 deaths and injuries.
