    Egyptian
    Ambassador to Iraq assured Sharif Shahin that Iraqi authorities are
    looking to give Egypt a deposit of about $ 4 billion, the Central Bank,
    to support the Egyptian economy and indicated that the matter was under

    to cooperation in all issues, expressing the hope that the
    Iraqi-Egyptian relations in the coming period both progress and
    prosperity.

    Egyptian officials, as it is an important issue, and a major obstacle to
    the development of relations between the two countries, and said he

    the first real serious Egyptian move at such a high level visit to Iraq
    to support the cooperation between the two countries, it is the first
    visit for more than four decades at this high level," said that "the
    results of the visit was radical for the Iraqi-Egyptian relations, which

    between the two countries."

    He noted that there is a delegation
    from the Egyptian Ministry of electricity had visited Baghdad two days
    ago to discuss cooperation projects in the fields of energy and
    electricity, headed by first Secretary of the Ministry, and there are
    other visits during the coming period.

    As for the situation of
    Egyptian companies working in Iraq, said that major Egyptian companies
    represented in Iraq through offices and representatives, there are
    already companies got projects, and companies will enter the Iraqi
    market, respectively, according to the information available, through
    possible reached agreements, so there is momentum in relations between
    the two sides, and the opening of the Egyptian market, in order to
    participate in infrastructure projects, adding that there are a large
    number of Egyptian companies and their workers will Contribute to these
    projects.

    And about the obstacles facing the return of Egyptian
    manpower to Iraq, said: "we want the return of Egyptian workers, we do
    not want random or illegal employment or marginal come to Iraq in a way
    that, while we want real employment through companies, where we seek
    through them to safeguard the rights of Egyptian workers and ensure they
    are not subjected to any abuse problems or issues of relations."
