Never could figure out why they were ever even appointed in the first place. So change should work, it has so far with the PM position.

its easy to figure out why the positions were appointed - "Hey buddy", "hey best friend or first cousin of my wife", "is there a cushy job for me somewhere where I have no qualifications and pays really well and I can skim some extra off the top", "sure there is, how do you feel about being a director?", "sounds really good Maliki!!"
