    BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - a member of the Commission on Security and Defense parliamentary Rubaie, said that the Russian new security cooperation in Syria will be with positive impacts on the security situation in Iraq, especially since most financing of terrorist gangs sources in Iraq up through Syria.


    He said al-Rubaie's (MN), said that "the new Russian military cooperation of Syria would be a positive step on the security situation, especially that there are attuned to the US Russia is doing in Syria."


    Rubaie said that "the impact of the Russian military cooperation in Syria will strengthen security in Iraq, the fact that the sources of terrorism and its financing in Iraq originated in Syria," pointing out that "the step unification of Russian-American efforts against the war Daash will be an important influence on the region."


    Russia began to combat the transfer of military equipment to a military base in Damascus, with the Russian Air Force intends to implement specific air strikes on targets for terrorist gangs Daash in Syria.

    Well if you read the Fox news report [out yesterday] they alarm the reader that low level Russian generals and Iranians setting up an office in Baghdad. If the report is accurate then it seems rather a staging office at this point, but who knows?

    Russia, to the shame of the US administration has been more forward to help Iraq than the US lately and who would be surprised to see the ground game adjust to political dynamic?
