    Arrived and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, today Sunday, 03/24/2013, to Baghdad on an unannounced visit.
    This is his first visit to Baghdad since he took the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs, will meet from which a number of Iraqi officials to discuss and debate the latest developments on the Iraqi arena.
    During the visit, and will discuss the Syrian situation and urged Iraqi leaders to show more cooperation over conflict in Syrian territory.

    BAGHDAD / obelisk: According to press reports, Sunday, Ban and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry would ask Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to reconsider the decision to postpone local elections in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh, and he would urge Baghdad to ensure that the Iranian aircraft flying over Iraq do not carry weapons to Syria.

    The Reuters news agency quoted an official from an unnamed saying that "Kerry will propose to al-Maliki and the Iraqi government to reconsider the decision to postpone local elections in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh."
