The leader of the Iraqi List, the Minister of Finance resigned Rafie al-Issawi, that the visit of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to Baghdad came "to remedy the failure of" the U.S. experience in Iraq because of the uniqueness of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, adding that Washington felt that "democracy is threatened," and called Arab leaders to intervene to resolve the current crisis.

Issawi said in an interview to the "long-Press" that "Kerry's visit to Iraq came as a result of disorder of the political scene in Iraq and the regional and international concern on the endangered American democracy in Iraq because of autocracy by al-Maliki."

Issawi said that "Kerry said during a meeting with Iraqi officials to several issues, including problems with its Prime Minister and supplies provided to the Syrian regime and the issue of the postponement of the elections."

He Issawi that "message Kerry was that the government stops supporting the Syrian regime and there was obvious concern in his speech," adding that "the United States does not want failure experience in Iraq, but today on the brink of failure and Iraq on the brink of political, if not taken serious steps to address the problems and bubbles, hearing voices the rebelling and protesters ".
