Chairman of the Commission on oil and gas in the Basra Governorate Council, said the Council would ask the Council of Ministers meeting to be held in the province of Basra, the capital of the project to activate the economic law of Iraq.
He welcomed Ali Shaddad Knight in a statement the agency of our economy news received a copy of the convening of the Council of Ministers its regular in the province of Basra, describing this initiative as reflect the appreciation and respect for the central government and a sense of the importance of Basra, politically and economically, socially, and wished the Council of Ministers to get out on the ground to maintain applications and initiate issuing decisions to resolve service and other problems.
Knight explained that "the local government in Basra province will use this meeting to offer a range of legal and constitutional demands that are compatible with the federal government orientations as a project of Basra, which the provincial council purports to ratify it in the coming days and joint operating production and service stalled projects, and approval of the dam Basra project to address water salinity as well as requiring local institutions to collect financial imports in accordance with Article 44 of the amended law of the provinces.
He explained that "among the issues that the local government will be prompted to activate it by the Council of Ministers project of Basra, capital of Iraq, economic law and rearrange the security leaders as well as other topics that affect the lives of citizens
