    US State Department announced that the “Minister John Kerry will visit Saudi Arabia on January 23 to hold talks with Saudi officials and foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
    The US State Department said in a statement, “Kerry will meet Saudi officials in his visit to Riyadh on 23 of this month, in addition to his counterparts and the ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).”
    The statement added, “Kerry will travel to Zurich, Switzerland, on 20 of this month to discuss Syria and Ukraine issues with his Russian counterpart before heading to Davos to attend the World Economic Forum.”
    The statement concluded, “The Foreign Minister will make an Asian tour after visiting the region to meet senior Chinese officials in Beijing on the 27th of this month for talks on bilateral relations and regional issues, including North Korea, which conducted a nuclear test in recent times, in violation of UN Security Council resolutions.” ./ End
