{International: Euphrates News} began EU foreign ministers formally meeting in Brussels on Monday to discuss the Iraqi and Syrian files and the current developments in the region in addition to the situation in Ukraine.
The High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union Federica Mogherini in a statement to reporters ahead of the meeting "today we will focus with the ministers on the situation in Syria and around in the first place."
She also stressed Mugireny "the need to continue to work after entering the nuclear program with Iran agreement into effect on Saturday.
She pointed out that "The ministers will also discuss the regional implications with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, who will be joined later on Monday during a working lunch session."
Jordan described as "a very strong partner for the EU not when it comes to managing only the refugee crisis but also the political process in the region, "noting that" the meeting will also focus on the situation in Iraq.
"For his part, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier," we will have lengthy discussions on Syria.
