The Governing Council of the Iraqi parliament, on Tuesday, the first second legislative term of the second legislative sessions for the year, while the meeting will see the first reading and discussion of eight draft laws, notably the anti-terror law device.
It said the information department of the parliament in a statement that "the Iraqi situation," received a copy of it, that "the Iraqi Council of Representatives will be held, today, its first session of the second legislative term of the second legislative year," indicating that "the agenda of the meeting includes the first reading of the draft first amendment to the Law of the sale and rental law State funds No. (21) for the year 2013, and the first reading of the draft ratification law air services agreement between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait. "
The department said that "the meeting will see the first reading of the draft first amendment to the law Property Claims Commission No. (13) for the year 2010, and the report and discuss the draft ratification of the cooperation agreement between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of plant protection agricultural and quarantine law, and the report and discuss the draft anti-terrorism "law.
Information department added that "the meeting report and discussion of the proposed cancellation of dissolved Revolutionary Command Council Resolution No. (15) of 1998, and the report and discuss the proposed cancellation of dissolved Revolutionary Command Council Resolution No. (256) of 1999, and the report and discuss the proposed cancellation of the Revolutionary Command Council Resolution Act dissolved number (32) of 2000 ".
The head of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri announced, the first on Sunday, (January 2016 17), that the parliament will hold its first session the second legislative session of the second legislative year, on Tuesday, and as pointed out that Parliament will focus in the coming sessions on the legislation related to national reconciliation and the economic crisis, stressed the need to complete the reforms and legislation already agreed.
The Presidency of the Council of Representatives of Iraq lifted, on Wednesday, (December 16, 2015), the 45th session of the legislative term of the first second legislative year, without setting a date to be held, as the session saw the vote on the financial budget for next year in 2016, and vote on the committee to choose UN High Commissioner for Human Rights members.
