Baghdad (news) .. Refer MP / coalition in Iraq / Qais Cdhir, the reasons for the low exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against the U.S. dollar to the political problems taking place in the country, and the lack of control over the sale and purchase of foreign currency.
And said Cdhir (for the Agency news): The weakness of the monetary policy pursued by the central bank, which led to the lack of real control over the sale of hard currency and how disbursed and quantities traded in the market caused down the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar.
He continued: as well as the lack of control over external transfers of money that caused the escape and out a lot of money in hard currency out of the country.
He added: that the political problems that the country witnessed during the last stage also contributed to the deterioration of the value of the national currency for it led to an increasing demand for the dollar in the local market.
This has seen the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar during the recent period plummeted against the U.S. dollar. / End / 8. N. P /
