Parliamentary Judiciary Committee announced that a meeting with the heads of the blocs will be held for the preparation of the final wording of the draft general amnesty.
The committee member, Salim Shawki told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that “the Presidency of the Council of Representatives told the heads of blocs to hold closed-door meeting with the Parliamentary Judiciary Committee for the preparation of the final wording of the draft of the general amnesty law before being submitted for voting.”
He noted that the “meeting will be held next week in preparation for including the bill in the agenda.”
He said that “According to the agreement with the Presidency, the meeting of the heads of blocs to finalize the bill and resolve the outstanding points.” / End
