    Twilight News / pledged German Chancellor Angela Merkel for Iraq to provide more German support in rebuilding the country.
    During a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi Thursday in the German capital Berlin, Merkel announced that Germany will provide a loan of unrestricted provided EUR 500 million for Iraq.
    It is scheduled to invest these funds in infrastructure projects in particular.
    Merkel pointed out that the aim is to give hope to citizens in Iraq, "in order not to be forced to leave their country."
    It is noteworthy that the organization (Daash) controls large parts of Iraq, including the second largest city of Mosul, which is there.
