{International: Euphrates News} approved the Pentagon, Tuesday, to send to Congress a plan to close the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, which US President Barack Obama wants to close it before leaving the White House.
According to news sites today, "The Obama administration has sought since 2009 to close the prison by sending detainees to countries that may be available where security conditions to complete their sentences there, the plan is to take a prison inside the United States as an alternative, but the fate of this plan is uncertain because the law prohibits the transfer of detainees from Guantanamo to the United States. " there are currently 91 detainees at the Guantanamo prison, they are 46 since the time of the war and recommended not to take them from there, and 35 in the list of Altesfarat, and the ten remaining are convicted by the military commissions. among the potential sites studied by the US Department of defense military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Charleston, South Carolina, as well as to reform the complex federal wing in Florence, Colorado, where the prison's heavily guarded already includes plenty of convicted terrorists, and allocate the new plan funds for the development of military prisons in those locations. located Guantanamo at Guantanamo Bay, a notorious prison, US authorities began using it in 2002, so as to imprisoned suspected of being terrorists, and is considered the prison absolute power to his presence outside the US border, in the far southeast Cuba, just 90 miles from Florida, does not apply to him any of human rights laws to the point that Amnesty international says that the US Guantanamo represents the barbarism of this Alasr.anthy
