    stressed US Vice President Joe Biden pledged his country generally any possible challenges to the borders of Iraq and its territory, while expressed his congratulations on the victories achieved by the security forces against al Daash, during a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.
    The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement received by the (independent) announced today that "the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received a telephone call from US Vice President Joe Biden," noting that "it was through contact with reviewing ways to enhance support for our troops in the areas of training, armament and air support."
    The statement added that "Biden stressed parking United States, with Iraq generally any potential challenges to its borders and territorial integrity," and expressed his congratulations for "Abadi, the Iraqi people, the victories achieved by our security forces in the fight against terrorist Daash gangs, and condolences to the victims of the recent terrorist operations."
    The statement pointed out that "the two sides also discussed economic and financial reform plans and the importance of contributing to support and speed up Iraq to provide the best international expertise to advance its requirements are consistent with the needs of Iraq's immediate and strategic." (End)
